What can we treat?

We have the skills and experience to treat a wide variety of problems that may prevent you from enjoying your normal day to day lifestyle or hobbies.

We see people of all ages from children to elderly clients and can even do home visits if your mobility prevents you from coming to the clinic.

The most common problems that we see are listed below, but please ring the clinic or fill in our contact form if you need advice on a specific problem not listed, or if you would rather discuss your problem in more detail with one of our therapists.

Neck and Back Pain

(Including Sciatica, Slipped Discs, Spondylosis, Degeneration, Arthritis, Nerve Compression, Referred pain into the arms/legs, Whiplash, Headaches & Migraines, Chronic Pain, Spinal Surgery and General Tightness).
Neck and Back Pain is by far the most common problem we treat in the clinic. Our daily lifestyles, work postures and hobbies put an enormous amount of stress and strain on our backs and this build up can inevitably lead to pain at some point in our lives.

Joint Problems / Arthritis

(Including Normal Age-Related Arthritis / Degeneration / ‘Wear and Tear’, Frozen Shoulders, Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis) Joint aches/pains and stiffness can commonly lead to reduced movement making it difficult to do even simple daily tasks like putting on socks, bending to do the weeding or putting on a jumper.
Whereas you may be told that this is just wear and tear or part of getting old, and to take painkillers to reduce the pain, we do not believe this is acceptable and are committed to using a variety of treatment techniques to reduce aches/pains and restore movement back to stiff joints to keep you moving.

Sports Injuries (Adults and Children)

Whilst we’re all encouraged to lead an active lifestyle for our overall health and fitness, unfortunately this can lead to injuries.
In adults this is particularly so when we reach our 30’s/40’s/50’s/60’s, as our joints and muscles may naturally start to stiffen/tighten up so we are more prone to ‘overstraining’ and injuring ourselves.
In children, injuries are most common during ‘growth spurts’ when the muscles and tendons are already being pulled and stretched against the growing bones making them vulnerable to injury.
